People generally have the tendency to avoid talking about ageing as if it is a disease and can be altered by them. Physical signs of ageing cannot be hidden as we get into middle age. Just to hide the signs of biological ageing many people use cosmetics and do operations to remove them.
Unluckily, biological aging is something which one cannot avoid. We age as we grow and weaken as we grow old. Biological clock is such a phenomenon that the process slows down in a person who had been physically active when they were young.
As biological ageing is inevitable one should learn to accept it and make the fullest use possible. We should not feel defeated or left out at this point of life, because our life is what we make it. So if we want to age gracefully we should accept as they come, so that we can be at peace.
Aging Means Maturing Physically And Mentally
We can learn to accept and enjoy our biological ageing instead of rebelling against it.
Though the wrinkled face in the mirror may put you off but we are still the same mentally. The person in us is always the same when we are young and when we are old although with changes due to ageing.
Those wrinkles need not be concealed with anti ageing creams lotions in the market.
There is really no harm in wanting to look younger. But one need to be infatuated with the idea to become young in old age and try to spend a lot in anti ageing treatment. If things are taken positively biological ageing is nothing bad as we think. We should learn to accept nature and look at its bright side.
The positive aspect is that we become mature as we age. Our minds become alert and we adjust to the rest of the world. It is in our old age we make better decisions and judgments. Research also says that older people make good leaders than the young ones.
