All women who are in the age group of 40 to 45 years are bound to get into the menopause stage, a difficult period for any women in their life time. Occasionally, this period may even extend to a longer period, say four to five years, making the women to undergo a severe trauma and other complications. Menopause also drains the very energy of women, as most of the symptoms are severely stressful and the women get drained both emotionally and physically.
Under normal circumstances, menopausal stage will start with certain classic symptoms such as mood swings, hot flashes, disinterest, irritability, high appetite or lack of appetite, insomnia and continuous fatigue for no valid reasons.
Factors Linking Women’s Health and Menopause
Most of the symptoms that are associated with onset of menopause are severely draining in nature. When this is coupled with the other family chores such as raising one or two school going kids, works that are related to these kids, office related tensions if employed – there are many such similar family worries that can add fuel to the already difficult menopause situation in women’s life. In such a situation women find it difficult to handle both the draining menopause symptoms and their other regular responsibilities and eventually end up in losing their precious health.
It is very difficult for any woman to keep her cool during the trying periods of menopause stage, as it is very draining both at physical and emotional level. Further, any attempt to cope with the situation can in turn increase the stress levels in women and the women get caught in a vicious cycle. The women also get perturbed by developing a false feeling of losing their sexual life and this thought can set in few other emotion based diseases including depression. These are the major factors that can be seen as links between women’s health and menopause.
Almost all women have developed a tendency to ignore their health and to compensate this, nature has made them stronger in their spirit and mind. Despite their strong mental ability, women fall a prey to the menopausal symptoms and become more vulnerable. This can be compared to their initial teenage stage, but the solace of entering into youth and beauty are not there in the post menopausal stage.
Many middle-aged women who are in the age group of 45 years develop a feeling of inadequacy and this particular feeling is very marked when you consider the women’s health and menopause. In every woman, menopause always bring with it the unsolicited unavoidable evil of hormonal imbalance and this will lead women getting many diseases. In the event of these diseases going unnoticed or the women failing to identify these diseases, then the condition may lead to more complications and may even be fatal.
From what has been told above, it is evident that women’s health and menopause is closely related with each other and hence the women should learn to cope with the situation and lead a meaningful and happy life through proper mindset and medications.
