Yes, hydrogen peroxide does wonders in curing acne and keeping it at bay in chronic cases. Hydrogen peroxide is an aerobic that produces oxygen in a water solution containing 3% of hydrogen peroxide in about 97% of water. The water proves useful in opening the skin pores, while the hydrogen peroxide creates a pressure and kills bacteria and also oxygenates the pores to prevent future outbreaks. Bacteria find it very difficult to survive in a space where there is oxygen, this helping to have an acne free skin and good complexion.
It is however not safe to use all peroxides as they could prove harsh on the skin and dry it. However hydrogen peroxide is much milder, decomposes rapidly, and does not have excessive bleaching effect as other peroxides that could bleach eyebrows and hairline.
